It's on it's way....
I hope that your move went ot is going well.
In 1989 my husband and I made the same plunge and moved from Toronto. We have now had our 16th Christmas in our little home in Thunder Bay.
I had much the same feelings that you discribe but.... the balance is in the favour especially for a creative soul to leave and dive into a new place that allows you to be closer to your own soul.
If we had stayed in Toronto I would never have been able to work as an an Artist and as a homecreator(homefirekeeper) and we would never have known the community that we depend on as close a family now. Now our natural family has expanded and we run out of chairs for shared feasts around the table.
I also would have stopped with one child..... instead 3 hace enriched our lived. We cose to live where we can walk to everything we need or want including work, curch,library and shopping and schools. Indeed we were able to go without a car for 7 years.
I wish for you the creative space and scope of imagination we need as artists. Life is far to short and small town living does make the days longer and more sedate.
